After the great success of our recent 'Helping you to become job ready week' in September, we decided to introduce all of these employability based sessions into our monthly GEMonline timetable to ensure we are fully supporting you with your GEM journey.

From job searching tips to transferable skills, and careers advice to confidence building for job seekers, all of our sessions are designed to help you move closer towards or into work.

What's more we've introduced a new skills based workshop which is kindly being delivered by one of our former GEMs Andrew; How to make a podcast. These sessions are being held over the next four weeks and cover some of the key themes to consider when making a podcast, including the art of listening and asking the right questions; important skills that can also be transferred into other areas of your employability journey.

Wellbeing is also high on our agenda, particularly as we head into the darker months and with World Mental Health Day on 10th October. Therefore, our brilliant Magic Workshop will once again be hosted by Tony as well as our Wednesday morning Yoga sessions with former GEM Lisa.

We also have the opportunity to hold another Group wellbeing workshop exclusively for GEM participants so please get in touch with your Navigator Developer if you would be interested in this free course.

We are really excited to announce our newly refreshed #GEMonline timetable, filled with various core activities from 15th June until 24th July!

As always, our biggest priority is to help you with your employability journey, learn new skills and support your mental health and wellbeing so we have continued to ensure that these key areas are covered throughout the week. What's more to help make things a little simpler and for you to easily plan which activities you would like to take part in, we have introduced themed days:

Monday: #skills
Tuesday: #information
Wednesday: #wellbeing
Thursday: #employability
Friday: #skills & #wellbeing

Many of our previous wellbeing activities are returning including our popular Yoga session, Music and Song Singalong and Creative Stressbusters, as well as a few familiar sessions being held, including our Rainbow Quiz and Photography tips.

On top of this, we have some new wellbeing sessions to launch; Online Facials, providing the perfect chance to take some time for a little self care, and Growing Edible plants, learning creative ways to use small spaces and items to grow seeds.

We're also delighted to welcome some new regular sessions thanks to professional chef Laurence who recently held a cookery top tips tutorial. Every Monday from 22nd June he will be hosting a cookery session to help develop your catering skills whilst learning new ways to cook on a budget and prepare delicious restaurant style dishes

Plus, from Friday 3rd July, we will be welcoming Healthy Lifestyles Gloucestershire once again as they launch their Friday Fakeaway class, another cook-a-long session focused on popular takeaway dishes.

Our employability sessions have always proved popular so we're really grateful to once again be supported by several of our partners including Laenus with their Interview Skills session, The National Careers Service CV Writing class and GRCC with using LinkedIn effectively, as well as various other activities to help you move closer to finding work.

We've also introduced some new information based sessions including an overview of the GEM Project, support for starting your own business and a budgeting and benefits tutorial (dates to be confirmed).

If you're thinking of joining us with some of these activities but are still a little unsure on using online facilities, we are also holding a Building Confidence to Engage Online session on 22nd June which will be streamed live on our Facebook page.

Finally, we will be adding additional activities to the timetable over the next few weeks so keep your eyes peeled for new sessions coming to #GEMonline.

Click here for our #GEMonline timetable covering 15th June until 24th July.

Thank you for your support and we hope you enjoy our refreshed #GEMonline programme.
