Do you know someone who might be interested in a FREE Wildlife and Habitat Management Courses for adults?

Participants can gain a certificate in Wildlife and Habitat Management from Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust (GWT) on completion, as well as a work reference and help to move on to local volunteering.

GWT particularly welcome absolute beginners or anyone who is unsure about joining a course or group. The course groups are run by experienced GWT staff and a Learning Support Worker and are small and supportive.

GWT Wildlife and Habitat Management Courses Brighter Futures is a free, fun and friendly course for adults to help them gain skills towards volunteering or work. We particularly welcome absolute beginners or anyone who is unsure about joining a course or group. The courses are run by experienced GWT staff and a Learning Support Worker and the mixed-ability groups are small and supportive.

Each course is: • 1 day a week for 6 or 7 weeks depending on the course. • Approx 10.30am to 2.30pm, depending on the course • Based around wildlife and outdoor activities such as plant and animal identification, bushcraft and practical work • Led by experienced Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust staff • Supported by a Learning Support Worker

Participants on each course will be based mostly at one site and there are opportunities to get a job reference and help into regular volunteering or work.
