We need a Business Development and Communications Officer to work the equivalent of two days a week with our small busy team, currently based near Stonehouse. You’ll be creating web and social media content; designing and producing materials including our twice-yearly brochure of inclusive events and activities, and taking responsibility with other team members for regular e-news updates.
You’ll also be encouraging schools, voluntary sector organisations and public-facing businesses to spend their money on our highly regarded inclusion training courses.
Active Impact seeks to extend opportunities for disabled children, young people and adults, especially alongside their non-disabled peers. We have good ideas and we help other organisations to carry them out. Working with nine local organisations our Of Course We Can programme offers exciting activities to disabled and non-disabled young people together. Our inclusion training programme reaches around 100 people a year and is primed to grow.
A new Inclusive Award is being piloted for community groups. And our Aiming High network offers opportunities for everyone interested in this work to be kept up to date and to meet face to face for mutual support.
